









TV Color Bars Tshirt
If you were growing up in the 70s and stayed up late you enough to where a channel would g off the air you'd see these pop up.  These color bars were called SMPTE bars. They were created in 1951 and became widespread in 1978 to calibrate color and audio levels for taped recordings. It also indicated that the mission of staying up waaaay waaaay past your bedtime was successfully accomplished.
