We GenXers are not old, we're just extra aged. Like a fine barrel of whiskey! With whiskey, long periods of aging eliminate the harsh flavors from the raw alcohol and allow the whiskey to actually extract flavor and color from the wood. Same thing with us GenXers. As we get older our rawness wears off and we mellow out. Maybe not all the rawness.
