70s Ecology Flag Tshirt
Protecting the environment is not a new idea. Throughout the ages we humans have always strived to take necessary actions to preserve the health of our planet Earth. One of the ways awareness was promoted was the creation of the Ecology Flag.  The symbol on the flag was created in 1969 and formed by taking the letters "e" and "o" (taken from the words "environment" and "organism") and putting them in superposition. That's your history lesson for the day GenXers. Class dismissed.
